Wedding ceremony at Helsinki Old Church
The wedding ceremony begins at 3:00 PM. The address is Lönnrotinkatu 6, 00120 Helsinki. Please arrive in good time before the ceremony starts, at around 2:30 PM.
You are welcome to sit on either side of the church — “pick a seat, not a side.”
We kindly ask you to refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
A professional photographer will capture everything so that we can fully enjoy the moment.
During the wedding reception at the Winter Garden, photography is not only allowed but warmly encouraged!
Wedding reception at Restaurant Sipuli’s Winter Garden
The wedding reception will be held in the cozy Winter Garden at Restaurant Sipuli in the heart of Helsinki.
The address is Kanavaranta 7, 00170 Helsinki.
The Winter Garden has its own separate entrance on the right-hand side of the building.

There is limited paid street parking near the Old Church of Helsinki and Restaurant Sipuli. Due to the central locations, we recommend arriving at the ceremony and traveling from the church to the reception primarily by public transportation or taxi.

If you left something out in the RSVP, you are more than welcome to message Bettina about any allergies or dietary requirements.

You may wear a tuxedo, a dark suit, an evening gown, or a dress that falls below the knee. Please avoid wearing all-white or bright red outfits.

over the years
Thailand, 2018
Our first trip together. After three weeks of traveling around Asia with backpacks, Bettina had to make sure: “Are we actually backpacking?”
St. Petersburg, 2019
We woke up at five in the morning for our flight to St. Petersburg. At the departure gate, only one of us was allowed to board the plane, and the other had to follow by train because the self-filled visa wasn’t supposed to include special characters (ä). In the end, the trip still turned out to be a great success.
Hämeenlinna, Finland, 2020
We spent a holiday at Emil’s family cottage by the lake, enjoying a golden sunset.
Visby, Sweden, 2021
We sailed from Hanko (Finland) to Gotland (Sweden) during our summer holiday. The trip was unforgettable, and Visby was beautiful.
New York, 2022
We spent a total of 10 days in a hot metropolis. The temperature was +30 °C, but Emil had packed only woolen long pants. We cooled off in shops from time to time.

We spent a gala evening at the Old Student House enjoying food, music, and a festive atmosphere.
Noormarkku, Finland, 2024
We were wedding guests at a lovely summer wedding!
Helsinki, 2025
We spent a moment in the summery Esplanadi Park with our little dog Nala. Nine-year-old Nallu has been an important part of our journey from the very beginning!
The future will bring even more important memories.
